This is me; Morten. I’m a B.Sc. in Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University, Denmark, with a focus on cryptology and programming languages.
I enjoy delving into programming on various projects on various topics, trying to get to the core of the goals to be achieved; implementation, verification, simplification, and optimization. My interests lie especially in programming, cybersecurity, and privacy.
Currently employed at KeyShot as Senior Software Engineer since 2010, working on KeyShot Studio (since version 2.0), KeyShot Network Rendering, scripting, headless operation and automation, single sign-on (SSO), subscription, and lots of other interesting things. During this time, I have spearheaded several projects:
- Porting our code base to C++11, C++14, C++17, and C++20.
- Porting KeyShot Network Rendering to Linux, including most of our code base.
- Extending KeyShot Network Rendering with GPU support, like KeyShot Studio has.
- Porting KeyShot Studio and our rendering engine to the Apple Silicon ARM architecture.
Also at KeyShot from 2021 to 2025, I worked as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), focusing on strengthening the company’s cybersecurity posture.
At Kamstrup, in 2025, I held the position of Chief Cybersecurity Architect until I returned to KeyShot in late 2025 as Senior Software Engineer again.
